Brandy is already off to a beautiful start with her basic training foundation. She is crate trained, walking on leash, and has been introduced to a structured outdoor potty routine, and just learning basic commands making her especially ideal for families wanting to skip much of the overwhelming brand-new baby stage while still bringing home a young, deeply bondable companion to build with. Brandy - Started Trained bernedoodle Girl
We have a trained adult smooth coat Bernedoodle male becoming available again after recently returning back to us, and he has definitely had quite the journey. 💙
He was originally placed in 2024 as a started service dog prospect. Unfortunately, his family ran into personal life circumstances and temporarily placed him with a friend. During that time, he ended up getting loose and was picked up by animal control. Because we remain listed on all of our dogs’ microchips, we received the call and immediately drove to bring him back home.
After that, we placed him with someone in South Florida who we truly believed would continue building on his training and give him the consistency he needed. Sadly, that did not happen the way we had hoped.
He is currently a very happy, extremely social, energetic young dog who simply needs structure, consistency, and continued guidance. We believe he spent a lot of time left out in a yard with very little engagement, so he came back overstimulated, excitable, and lacking the follow through he once had.
The good news? He has absolutely zero meanness in him. None. He is incredibly people friendly, affectionate, and eager to interact. His biggest “issue” is honestly just being a little too enthusiastic and potentially knocking someone over with excitement. ☺️
He is currently back in training working on place, sit, down, heel, calmness, self regulation, and off site exposure work to help him settle and relearn structure. Before returning to us, he also completed a short exposure based board and train with our transporter, who kept him for two weeks before bringing him back. This gave us valuable outside feedback on his temperament and demeanor as well.
He is neutered, fully up to date on veterinary care, and we will be sharing updated videos and content soon as he continues progressing.
